Adaptation, 29 October 2026: upstream source src/piano/notes.ts and
src/piano/piano.ts inform the retained two-octave note identifiers,
keyboard mapping, note-name validation, pointer press/release behavior,
modifier/repeat exclusions and blur cleanup. TypeScript was ported to
plain JavaScript. Howler/sample playback was replaced with local exact-
frequency Web Audio synthesis, and all interface/style code was replaced.
Six original treble-clef pitch studies, sheet drawing, scoring, local
progress, optional assistance, free play and mobile keyboard scrolling
are added. This is an independent adaptation, not the original site.
No upstream audio recordings, logos or fonts are bundled.

Complete unminified application source: index.html, style.css, notes.js,
app.js. Any static host can run it with no build step or dependencies.
Full MIT license is LICENSE.txt. Original conservatory artwork generated
with a built-in GPT image model, optimized locally as conservatory.webp.
Sound is synthesized by three decaying sine harmonics per note.
No microphone, MIDI, sign-in, server, database or model calls required.
